Macrophenology

This working group examines the seasonal timing of leaf-out, budding, flowering, fruiting, and leaf-off in plants as indicators of climate change response. The team integrates phenological data with species distribution information to understand how climate shifts affect plant persistence, species rarity, and invasive versus native plant dynamics.
